Our Andrea Shea-King was the invited guest speaker at a gathering of Republican women this morning in Cocoa Beach, Florida (a few men were present as well!)  A straw poll was conducted at the gathering, with some interesting results.  Bear in mind that all of those polled are conservatives representing a small microcosm in Florida - and most importantly that the sample size is 38 respondents.  Here are the results:

Romney:          58%
Giuliani:           21%
*Thompson:     13%
McCain             <3%
Huckabee          <3%
Paul                   <3%

* Thompson had not yet withdrawn at the time of this poll - I'd be curious to see how these votes would have gone otherwise.

Again - this is the tiniest of the tiny straw polls, but may be very telling after all.  I was very skeptical of Rasmussen's numbers yesterday - now I'm not so sure.
